 Alright! So; there are 2 main characters in our film, acted by me and tuyetnhi respectively. Style is important to this film, and so id like to show you what we will each be wearing, yet in a different way that the others did in rheir posts! Im in a gyaru style (which i will explain here) and tuyetnhi is in egl. This actually replicates our styles in real life! So im really excited to show up and show out! To start, the J fashion movement in general came from many origins, but generally boomed when the young people in Japan decided to stand up and stand out! With Gyaru and Lolita fashion, both came from this start but had very different results that I think play into our story a bit. Gyaru started in japanese schools, as girls and guys alike rebelled against Japanese beauty standards. Bleaching rhwir hair, tanning their skin, wearing makeup, lashes and nails, and altering their school clothes. This became known as kogal, and is now a term for a gyaru/gal in high school (like me!) ...

 Alright so film prep!! There's a few things we need to discuss, starting with the fact that we've confirmed just having 2 characters/actors. Me and Tuyetnhi will be acting for this project! we actually decided on this mainly based on budget and location.  Costumes- So as previously stated, J fashion is extremely important to this project. I had plenty of ideas from Pinterest but decided on two looks; a brighter pink style (such as yumekawa or hime gyaru) for me, and a darker style (gothic lolita-esque) for Tuyetnhi! budget wise we have most of the clothes and accessories, but we did need to get some more here and there for Tuyetnhis style. ill be doing the makeup and accessories if necessary by the way! Locations/Set- We'll be confining it to just my room in this aspect. For most of these scenes the main things I want to use is a desk space and bathroom space! Because we want the film to have an overall homey feel this will work pretty well in our favor. I also think of th...

 Alright! Storyboard!! So our idea has become much more refined. after a long discussion, we decided to make 2 storyboards; one of a general synopsis, with a focus on the cuts, audio etc by me, and another by tuyetnhi since it will include more visual details. Each of us have discussed a few new ideas for scenes in each so we may end up tweaking a final storyboard towards one of our idea or a mesh of both! Here's Mine; done on paper so it was easy to write down every little detail; And heres tuyetnhis visuals! You may notice a stark difference between the two; that being the absence of a third actor in the visual one, but this was done purposefully to test whether or not a third actor would be in consideration, since we have our new member Bella on board! and having a plan to go off of for either scenario!  Im super excited to do this, seriously I could not be more hyped about this project! until next time!

 OKAY SO... My Co-Director Tuyetnhi has made us a beautiful moodboard- I mean it encapsulates exactly what I wanted our energy to be I was going to make one myself however she completely blew me out of the water after having a few discussions with her to confirm the vibe of our work. Like Tu said, Me and her want this to be whimsical childish fun, despite us (and therefore the main characters) being highschoolers. I think we can both relate to this, as our interest are often things people correlate with younger kids. Our main characters are not confirmed but will most likely just be the two of us (with different aliases of course!) I also have some visual additions from my own here and there!   figures, crafts and such for props props as a representation of the hobbies and interests that the main character holds dear, keeping a pastel and bright energy throughout the film.
