MOOD BOARDDD!!!!

 OKAY SO...

My Co-Director Tuyetnhi has made us a beautiful moodboard- I mean it encapsulates exactly what I wanted our energy to be I was going to make one myself however she completely blew me out of the water after having a few discussions with her to confirm the vibe of our work.

Like Tu said, Me and her want this to be whimsical childish fun, despite us (and therefore the main characters) being highschoolers. I think we can both relate to this, as our interest are often things people correlate with younger kids. Our main characters are not confirmed but will most likely just be the two of us (with different aliases of course!)

I also have some visual additions from my own here and there!

 figures, crafts and such for props props as a representation of the hobbies and interests that the main character holds dear, keeping a pastel and bright energy throughout the film. Quote a few of these are things I own personally, so I have plenty of stuff for the project!

Costuming is also part of this moodboard! I wanted to put different J fashion subcultures as i feel it fits our theme best, including lolita, gyaru, decora, and yamekawa outfits. There's so many J fashion subcultures but I wanted to select from a few to represent our characters whimsical mood.

Now onto settings and lighting!

Settings are so.. so much fun.. But honestly im thinking something simple will work here! a need for sure though is set design, I at the very least want a well decorated desk as one of our set pieces, but that will be defined fairly soon with our storyboard!! Lighting wise Id like to keep it simple and just make some pretty sunset or bright lighting (so we’ll probably record at a certain time)

But yeah- that's about it! Im super excited for this but yeah!
