MAIN CHARACTER!!!

WOOO!!!! I love writing characters a lot so this is so exciting! 

To start with my character, within the story she's a sweet but rebellious kid, who uses her fashion and childish activities as an escape from her less fortunate reality. So here are some details related to that importance for her character! Gyaru. As explained previously, gal culture is inherently teenage rebellion. However, himekaji is a sweeter and more relaxed version of that culture, reflecting the characters semi-reserved personality! When it comes to props, one noticeable feature sticks out; the mc's my melody plush. 

Sanrio is the franchise that hello kitty comes from, a brand known for designing cute and memorable characters. most notably, My melody is a sweet bunny, meant to create more confidence in shyer girls such as the main character. and I have a picture of her righttt here!

bracelets are inherently gyaru, but our girlie is covered in them, which is actually more interesting than u think! each of them represent a friend of hers, and she has intricate charms from each of them. she also seems to have arm and legwarmers to cover up. Kinda says something dont ya think? who knew that someone with such expressive fashion could be so uncomfortable in their own skin? despite it being important to gyaru, our MC also uses makeup to cover up blemishes; she even has star patches to cover them ON TOP of the makeup! but, its even more notable when she takes it all off. When she's out of her element, wearing what works instead of what she loves... 

Personality wise overall, she's the more reserved, quiet, calm and a bit sadder. But this film is all abpout friendship, and she has a spunky sharp friend to be her antithesis and cheer her up!

So yeah! filming will be coming up soon, I'm really excited!
